Project Management
Project management is a strength of mine. I shine when I have a chance to introduce a new project and see it through. For instance, I developed and maintained a private psychotherapy practice for eight years, and also launched a therapeutic writing venture called Room to Write. I have taught courses at the undergraduate and graduate level, which required strong organization and management skills.

Below I describe a project I developed for a corporate organization.

Digital Library Project
I saw a need for a digital library to support the work of the organization I work for. I undertook the following steps:
Researched options for a digital library
Learned how to use EndNote© software, and created a new library for research and source materials
Presented to leadership my ideas for using the software across the organization
Created a more formal document for the senior director (see featured pages)
After receiving buy in, I moved on to phase two: creating a presentation to introduce the project to colleagues and recruit members to serve on the EndNote Team.
I am the leader of this team and am responsible for training members to use the software. The team meets regularly to discuss standard operating procedures and dissemination of new research.
