Presentations

As an instructor, workshop leader and trainer, I have created a great variety of presentations. These include in-person and via webinar, for small groups and large groups. I have also created lessons for and taught undergraduate and graduate students, in traditional and virtual classrooms. Some software and platforms I have used for presentations include:

  • PowerPoint

  • Prezi

  • Adobe Connect

  • GoToWebinar

  • Zoom

Below I have excerpted some presentations I created using PowerPoint.

Digital Library Project Proposal

This excerpted presentation was created to sell a new project idea to colleagues. I sought to illustrate our organization’s need for a digital library.

Please see the Project Management page for more information on the project.

Webinar: ACEs and Tobacco Use Disorder

I have developed and delivered many webinars. Each requires considerable research.

This excerpt is from a webinar about how Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) are associated with Tobacco Use Disorder. The webinar makes use of a case study, and ultimately suggests treatment and other programmatic responses to ACEs.

Training: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in Tobacco Treatment

I created the presentation excerpted here as part of a two-day intensive training for health professionals. Participants learned about various topics related to Tobacco Use Disorder, which would lead to them being certified Tobacco Treatment Specialists.

This presentation was a high level lesson about using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in tobacco treatment.
